Gilles Peterson has announced the launch of the Steve Reid Foundation in memory of the legendary drummer who died last year. While the Steve Reid Foundation awaits approval for charitable status, money raised from Gilles’ marathon run will actually go to the Musicians Benevolent Fund, with whom he has been working closely on the launch of the new organisation.
