Anyone who is being backed so hard by a certain Kode 9, deserves more than just passing attention; and once you’ve heard his beats your focus ain’t going anywhere.

Only 21 years old, and already on the cusp of releasing his second EP on Hyperdub, WALTON is a name you’re going to have to get used to, and is already causing a real problem in the UK House and Funky scenes, getting heavy rotation on the likes of Rinse FM and the pirates due to his fresh take on the sound. His 80s inspired synth-work, and mastery of percussion makes it seem farcical that he has only been producing for a few years. Whilst shimmering with class, the focus is always on keeping the dancefloor rolling; and is fresh and vibrant exactly for that reason.He has also garnered the support of another key player in the scene, Mr Martin Blackdown, and you can also expect to hear some of his work on the next Keysound Allstars EP.
