Biography —
Labyrinth Ear are an electronic duo made up of London born Emily J and Tom E. They take their inspiration from film soundtracks, foreign pop and techno and have been described as “Ice-disco with a warm beating heart”.
‘Oak’ EP was released as a free download, in December 2010 and has since been downloaded over 15,000 times. They have also produced some well received remixes for artists including Alex Winston and Local Natives.
In 2011 the band released a rework of Arthur Russell’s ‘This is How Walk on the Moon’, the track made XLR8R’s ‘Best Downloads of 2011′ list.
‘Apparitions’, their newest EP, was self-released digitally on the 7th Feb 2012 and the tracks ‘Amber’ and ‘Humble Bones’ have received coverage from likes of Pitchfork and The Fader.
