Foreign Beggar’s recent output has been a genre-defying blend of their former machinations. It’s speaker-busting, floor rumbling dance music produced by the hottest artists around.2009′s ‘Contact’ (6,500,000+ views on YouTube), taken from their third album, saw them combine furious London-fueled flows with Noisia’s crunching electro backbone. This was the start of what has become Foreign Beggars’ new obsession – fusing hip hop and grime with dance music. Since then Foreign Beggars have delivered a succession of high-profile collaborations. Each release seems to bring greater success and critical acclaim; the ‘Beggatron Remixed’ album featured the likes of Plastician, Bar9, Noisia and more. The Beatport chart topping ‘Scatta’ with Skrillex; the anthem that is ‘Lines In Wax’ with Flux Pavilion; and the recent team-up with Vato Gonzalez, Ministry Of Sound’s ‘Badman Riddim’ are all finally seeing the group crossover into the mainstream. Their collaboration track ‘Badman Riddim’ launched them into the top 10 (UK Singles Chart) in June 2011.

They now have a combined viewing figure of well over 25,000,000+ Youtube hits, with that figure refusing to stand still. Clocking up over 100 shows a year, Foreign Beggars have touched down on just about every continent, supporting the likes of The Prodigy, Amy Winehouse, Snoop Dogg and the Wu Tang Clan along the way. Their legendary live show has left crowds fevered and frenzied as the group seamlessly blend grime, dubstep, drum and bass and rap music.

Their on-stage energy is more akin to heavy metal than a hip hop show. Finally, after a long wait, 2012 will see the release of not one, but two full length projects on Deadmau5′s Mau5trap Records; it’s going to be a huge year.
